2nd Class Blog – November & December

We had a very busy and enjoyable November and December in our class. We really enjoyed our six-week block of swimming lessons at Cavan Leisure Centre. Everyone tried their best, and it was great fun learning new skills and becoming more confident in the water.

Back in the classroom, we were very busy with our learning. We researched different animals for our report writing using the laptops, which we really enjoyed. We also loved playing maths games and working together with our classmates.

We also did lots of fun Christmas-themed art and craft activities. We loved being creative and making colourful Christmas art work to display in our classroom.

We had auditions for our school Nativity and we were all very pleased with the parts we were given. We did lots of rehearsals and learned songs, actions, and our lines. We had great fun practising and really enjoyed performing our show for our parents.

We were also very excited when Santa came to visit our classroom with his elves. We had great fun and were delighted to receive lots of treats. It was a very special surprise!

It was a wonderful end to the year and we are very proud of all our hard work!
