Extra-Curricular Activities
Extracurricular activities are vital for a student’s overall growth. They help build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and time management skills. Whether it’s sports, music, debate, or clubs, these activities allow students to explore interests, make friends, and relieve academic stress. At Castletara, there are activities for all interests, ensuring every student has a chance to get involved. In short, extracurriculars support both personal development and future success

Choir
The school choir prepares for First Holy Communion, Confirmation and the School Graduation.
School Tours
Each class will go on an Annual School Tour organised by school.
Each class will also go on a low cost Mini School Tour in the local area organised by class teacher.
School Plays
School plays take place every two years and will be held at date and times arranged by the staff.
Parents will be notified of dates and times in good time so they can make arrangements to attend.
School Visits
The school welcomes visitors to the school who can share their knowledge, expertise, fun and entertainment with the children.
School visits can include, members of the school community, the circus, pantos, other performers, science, history etc experts.
